Rumor has it that Mr. Carsten’s yearly contract extension vote will occur at tomorrow’s Board meeting, rather than next month’s meeting. School Boards often do a yearly extension on their superintendent’s contract to keep them on a three year deal so they don’t apply for jobs in other districts. Mr. Carsten has never been denied an extension at Ida.

Before you ask, I do not know if Mr. Carsten is asking for a raise.
