Union questions pay for teachers who were building administrators

TECUMSEH — In its second special meeting in a week, the Tecumseh Public Schools board met Thursday to hear grievances brought against the district by its teachers union.

The board decided to let the parties attempt to come to a solution informally.

The Tecumseh Education Association’s grievances were the result of the salaries of three former administrators who returned to teaching roles in the district, but whose contractual salary was not entirely returned to the level of teachers with corresponding education levels and experience.
